It all began in 2011 with a cassette-only album ‘American Specialties’. Since then, Parquet Courts haven’t looked back. Their 2012 record ‘Light Up Gold’ positively put them on the map. As Parquet Courts progressed, they’ve expanded and experimented with their sound, working with rapper Bun B on 2016’s Captive Of The Sun, collaborating with Italian producer Daniele Luppi and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Karen O and exploring funk and new wave on their most recent, Danger Mouse-produced album ‘Wide Awake!’. All these influences fit beautifully together on their albums, but the band is also capable of translating all this into their live shows. Not to miss out!
