Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever – abbreviating to Rolling Blackouts C.F. is allowed – makes exciting indie, with catchy guitar lines and quirky lyrics, in the vein of The War On Drugs, Kurt Vile and The Strokes. After the release of two great EPs, expectations were high for their first full-length album ‘Hope Downs’. Euphoria everywhere when it turned out that they were able to meet those expectations even more than anticipated and they proved that guitar music, in times of electronica calling the shots, is still alive and kicking. Adding up to that, at Pukkelpop 2018 it appeared that the band is also worth checking out live, therefore we can safely say that Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever has a great career ahead of them!
