From 29 July until 13 August, the historical city centre of Bruges will be the setting for the eleventh edition
of the urban festival KLINKERS. A cosmopolitan summer happening that offers the visitor a
wide variety of contemporary world music. In 2005 again, Klinkers wants to be a festival perceptible in the
different layers of the Bruges summer air.
The larger, free accessible outside concerts are set against the historical façades
of the Burg Square: RACHID TAHA (29/7),
STUURBAARD BAKKEBAARD (30/7), SIOEN
(30/7), CHEB BALOWSKI (31/7), LA PANIKA + LA
CARAVANE ELECTRO (31/7), PINK MARTINI (05/8),
iMUSICALIA (06/8) and LUKA BLOOM (07/8)!
The inner court of the Gruuthusemuseum (City Theatre in case of bad weather forecast) is the
ideal scene for a festival section referred to as 'KLINKERS INTIEM'.
