From 28 July until 12 August, the historical city centre of Bruges will be the setting for the 12th edition of the urban festival KLINKERS. A cosmopolitan summer happening that offers the visitor a wide variety of contemporary world music. KLINKERS 2006 finishes with the fifth edition of BENENWERK (LEGWORK) - 'Bruges goes Ballroom'. During this festive dance happening the city centre of Bruges will be turned into one of the biggest ballrooms in Flanders, where everyone can 'shake a leg' – irrespective of age, taste or fitness. At twelve different in- and outdoor locations the very best live bands an dj's offer a varied range of dance music: from tango and waltz, through latin, salsa, afrobeat, fonque and deephouse up to and including Brazilian beats and dance.
