Much to our regret, we are forced to cancel the 'Modern Stage'. Last minute it turns out that Owla, the venue where this stage was planned, does not have the proper music licence to allow the planned event to take place on that day.

A ballroom bathed in the atmosphere of the 1940s and 1950s. Here, rock 'n roll, swing, R&B and related genres reign supreme. HAYLEN, style icon and former revue-leader of the iconic Paris Crazy Horse, will sign with her band for the concert part with a sound drenched in blues, soul and rock 'n roll. Before and after, Vj CHRIS BARROW sprinkles the best of his retro clip archive across the dance floor, Ol' Blue Eyes Sinatra and Pelvis Elvis included. Petticoats and quiffs recommended! The beauty queens of The Modernettes will provide some rouge on the cheeks and curlers in the hair in their Beauty Boudoir, if desired.
