Efterklang

Danish indie darlings Efterklang aren’t the band to just coast on previous success. At probably the highest point in their career after the release of incredible albums ‘Magic Chairs’ (2010) and ‘Piramida’ (2012), the band decided to pull the plug with the concert film ‘The Last Concert’. The concept of a rock band no longer appealed to them, so Efterklang reimagined themselves into a collective, with their own radio station, sister band Liima and even an opera in 2017.

Last year, core members Casper Clausen, Mads Brauer and Rasmus Stolberg reunited into the original Efterklang and released a completely Danish spoken new record. ‘Altid Sammen’ is classic Efterklang in the best sense: a harmonious symbiosis of baroque and digital sounds, knit together by Casper Clausen’s warm, worn and wise vocals. The perfect soundtrack for a midsummer night!
